Steel

Aluminum

Bimetallic
The radiator is made of two metals: steel and aluminum. The radiator core consists of horizontal steel inlet and outlet tubes with transverse tubular channels, surrounded by aluminum converter plates.
The bimetallic design combines the best thermal properties of two metals. The steel, heated by the coolant, transfers heat to the aluminum plates, which release thermal energy into the apartment's air much faster than the steel frame.
What's the benefit here? The aluminum doesn't come into contact with the heat transfer fluid, thus eliminating the risk of corrosion. This allows for efficient heat exchange and significantly increases the service life of heating appliances.

Copper

Plastic
